Changes to Brazilian law threaten the Amazon rainforest: "






Brazil has a piece of legislation called the forest code which is responsible for protecting much of the Amazon rainforest. However, changes are being proposed which would radically increase the amount of forest land owners can chop down, spelling disaster for the forest, the environment and the climate. Paulo Adario of Greenpeace Brazil explains.
